I love looking at other people's faces. I love how nobody looks alike, like at all. Everybody's eyes and noses and ears are completely different from anybody else. Isn't that, like AWESOME?!!?!?

what is there to say about light vs dark? nothing. well. my pictures can say it for me.

MUHSELF.

Self portraits. Easy enough, right? No. Have you ever SEEN a detailed picture of yourself? Are YOU the kind of person that loves the way you look every day? I was having a weird experience taking these... I wasn't sure what I wanted people to see. I wasn't sure what I wanted to see of myself. What would everybody else think of them? What would they know about me due to these photos? WHAT DOES IT MATTER?

24 things? Or 24 mindsets...

So, since my mom was diagnosed with breast cancer I've had a bit of a hard time. Not with like doing certain things but more with keeping myself calm and focused. Hohman told us to interpret 24 words into "visual metaphors" as a project. That project came at a really good time for me. I've learned that, yeah, I think strangely sometimes, but I think that's good. Nobody can tell me what I photographed is wrong, and nobody can tell me it doesn't make sense. IT DOES IN MY OWN HEAD.

One thing; My Baby Blue

Pretty positive this is my favorite project so far. I like not having a ton of rules and guidelines to follow. Anyways, this is my guitar, nicknamed Baby Blue. My two favorite shots of it. Question for you; Have you ever realized how much better pictures look in black and white?

It's amazing what a furry pen can do. Ever seen Gumby in one of these things? Ever seen Gumby at all? If not, you're totally missing out. He's awesome. His horse is pretty cool too.... Anyways, this is my photogram. I'm pretty proud of it... Guess what it actually is...

Vocab from Hohman- CANERA

 I never realized how frustrating it was to make pictures in a CAN. Like, it's REALLY frustrating... Especially if your paper turns the wrong way.  But I shan't dwell on the past. Photo's PRETTY awesome... I kinda love it. I just hope I get the swing of things easier.... Enjoy some pictures and photoshop from our first project!
